Shine Box Deluxe Pyrography Tip Cleaner - Cherry

The Shine Box Deluxe is the first pyrography tool available from Shoemaker Pyroshop. Designed and handcrafted by Dirk Lewis to simplify pyrography tip cleaning.

The Shine Box Deluxe is made from solid hardwood with rubber feet for strength and stability. Two pen grooves will secure your pyrography pens when hot or not. The attached leather strop and denim patch make tip maintenance simple. The denim patch is used to remove carbon build up from tips during or after burning. Use the leather strop with the included polishing compound to polish tips and reduce drag.

Using the denim patch to clean hot tips can burn the wood underneath. To avoid fumes, we coat the Shine Box Deluxe with a beeswax / mineral oil paste called "wood butter". A tin of wood butter is included and will need to be reapplied as needed.
